From the initial design sketches to the final hand-assembly, each Lorige timepiece takes concrete shape as it journeys from the canton of Neuchâtel to that of Geneva. The cases, the finishing of the external components, and the final assembly take place in Geneva, while the movements and their decorations are crafted by our artisans in La Chaux-de-Fonds. All Lorige high complications are produced exclusively in Geneva. The craftsmanship of our artisans - combining expertise and precision in every detail - is part of Lorige’s very DNA. UNPARALLELED PRECISION OF
Precision engineering is like fine watchmaking, except that it operates on a scale 1,250 times smaller. At Lorige, the Métiers d'art, hand-finished details, and their precision are intrinsically linked to the brand’s history. Reflecting the centuries-old expertise of Swiss watchmaking, these finishes sublimate the heritage symbolized by the Carbone/Carbone. On surfaces often too tiny to be seen with the naked eye, Lorige artisans polish, satin-finish, and microblast each timepiece with patience and meticulous care. More than 11 steps are required to finish a timepiece: 5 manual finishes on the bezel, 4 on the strap lugs, and 5 on the exterior components. These finishing steps are moments when every gesture counts, modifying the way light reflects and bringing relief and emotional depth to each timepiece.

Local craftsmanship and artisanal expertise are at the heart of Lorige’s history. Based in Geneva, our partner Régence Production - which joined the company in 2024 - crafts the components that bring each timepiece to life, while the high complications are assembled by its movement division, Timeless SA in Satigny. This proximity and close collaboration allow Lorige teams to monitor every step with precision, expertise, and adaptability. With 20 years of industry experience, Chronode SA, located in the heart of the canton of Neuchâtel, is responsible for manufacturing the brand’s calibers. Design, prototyping, production, and quality control are managed there, in close collaboration with Lorige’s technical teams.

A Lorige timepiece is born from a unique contrast: the strength of Carbon/Carbon combined with the precision of Swiss watchmaking and the exquisite delicacy of handcrafted finishes. Bringing these worlds together is a challenge that involves technical constraints, fusion of materials, and the specific requirements of each artisanal craft. It is the fusion of Lorige’s patented process with the finest of Swiss watchmaking that makes this alliance possible, creating a dialogue between these seemingly parallel worlds. Through its exceptional timepieces - infused with performance, emotion, and heritage - Lorige merges both worlds, disrupts codes, and forges its own path in the industry.
Every timepiece begins with a line. The first sketches are drawn, tested, and refined through digital design. Design at Lorige is intentional. Every line, every curve reveals the raw strength of the case. Elegance and performance exist together, guided by the highest standards of watchmaking.
The first physical form is created. Like in racing, this stage tests proportion, function, and feeling. The idea becomes something tangible.
Each component is manufactured guided by the exacting standards of fine Swiss watchmaking. At this stage, the challenge is not only accuracy. The process demands control, especially when working with rare and difficult materials.
All the Lorige surfaces are refined by hand. Bead blasting, polishing, and satin brushing bring depth, contrast, and light to the piece. This is where the watch begins to reveal its presence.
This is the moment where everything meets. : the case, the movement and all the details shaped before it. With patience and precision, the timepiece is assembled into its final form by Lorige craftsmen in Geneva
Before the watch leaves the workshop, it must prove itself. Over several days, the precision of the movement and the winding performance are carefully tested. The tests are performed in six positions to simulate wrist wear before the strap is fitted. Only then is it ready. The starting line is near.
